Asian Tour launches phase three of the #whereitsAT campaign, featuring the next generation of stars.

Sentosa, Singapore, August 8: The Asian Tour has launched the third phase of its #whereitsAT campaign, which celebrates the limitless potential, youthful exuberance and enthusiasm of the players on Tour.

Themed “Tomorrow’s Stars Today”, a series of videos will be rolled out starting from this week.

This year’s campaign will thrust young champions as well as up-and-coming golfers such as 2017 Asian Tour Order of Merit winner Gavin Green of Malaysia, Indian hotshot Shubhankar Sharma and United States’ Johannes Veerman into the limelight. It also aims to underline the revitalisation of the Tour and attract a younger demographic to the sport.

The videos will be supported by feature stories and digital ad campaigns on Asian Tour’s official website and social media channels that include YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Weibo.

The videos will also be shown on many of the Tour’s global television broadcasters as well as Bloomberg TV, which is one of the official international media partners of the Asian Tour.

2018 marks the third year of the highly successful #whereitsAT campaign. Since its launch in 2016, the complementary videos have been viewed by millions and the hashtag has become synonymous with golf fans around the world.

Thailand’s Jazz Janewattananond will lead off the new promotional campaign. The 22-year-old consolidated his credentials as a rising star of the sport after capturing his second Asian Tour title at the 2018 Queen’s Cup. His featured video will be launched on August 10.

“The new videos put the Asian Tour in a refreshing light. They are visually arresting, bold and very creatively-produced. We all had fun during the filming of these videos and I hope that our fans will enjoy watching them as much as we did putting them together,” said Jazz.

Asian Tour Chief Operating Officer Cho Minn Thant said: “Week after week, we continue to see a new and exciting generation of golfers contending on the Asian Tour. The Asian Tour aims to encapsulate the unbridled spirit of these young stars, as well as the development of the organisation through the promotional videos.”
